"Three Months That Shook Syria" is a book by former Syrian Defense Minister, Major General Mustafa Tlass who wrote it against the background of the domestic incidents that occurred in Syria in 1984 and destabilized the Assad regime. The president no longer had the upper hand, but thanks to the Leader Brigadier-General Rifaat Al-Assad, the president’s standing was restored and he was kept in his position.
